Purpose:
The Diploma in Ministry (Level 5) is designed to equip people for supervised ministry and lower-level leadership within churches, Christian organizations, and community organizations, as well as to prepare students to pursue theological studies at a higher academic level.
Upon successful completion, graduates can exercise supervised or ‘junior’ ministry roles of Christian leadership with their local church or Christian organization. Demonstrate a working knowledge of social and theological issues impacting leadership roles within community organizations.
Articulation Opportunities:
Graduates would be eligible to enroll in the Diploma in Theology (Level 6).
Outcomes of the whole qualification
Holders of this qualification can:
1. Develop their personal faith in the light of Christian Theology to grow in godliness;
2. Interpret and adequately apply the Bible today;
3. Understand and apply Christian Theology with an appreciation for people and the world;
4. Apply skills necessary for supervised ministry and Christian leadership (such as Bible teaching and counseling).
