Mode: This course is offered as a part-time course, consisting of a cycle of four consecutive semesters over two years.
Purpose: The Bachelor of Theology Honours qualification aims to equip people for advanced professional Christian ministry and provides an introduction to post-graduate level theological research and reflection.
Upon successful completion, graduates would be able to evaluate, develop, and exercise a ministry of Christian leadership with their local church or Christian organization, providing substantial theological insight into the issues of the day. Holders of this qualification would be able to interact meaningfully with the leading thinkers and writers of the community and to make their contribution to written and oral debates. Furthermore, holders of this qualification would be eligible to move on to Master’s level study and become theological educators themselves.
