DIPLOMA 2: DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY

240 CREDITS - NQF LEVEL 6)

PURPOSE:

This Diploma in Theology (Level 6) is designed to equip people with a broad theological foundation, for both ministry and Christian leadership within churches and Christian organizations, and to provide options for further study.
Upon successful completion, graduates can exercise a ministry of Christian leadership within their local church or Christian organization. Holders of the qualification would be able to provide some relevant theological insight into contemporary issues.

aRTICULATION OPPORTUNITIES:

Holders of the qualification would be eligible to move on to degree-level studies.
Outcomes of the whole qualification
Holders of this qualification can:

1. Evaluate and develop their personal faith in the light of Christian Theology to grow in godliness;
2. Interpret and apply the Bible to contemporary issues;
3. Understand and critically analyze Christian Theology;
4. Apply skills necessary for ministry and Christian leadership (Bible teaching, counselling, leadership/management, organisation).
