Part-time

If you are a Christian who would like to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus better but can’t study full-time, then NETS part-time studies may be just what you’re looking for. Each semester a variety of different subjects are available either as part of our NETS@night program or are taught as week long Intensives. All our other subjects are taught in blocks during the morning (8am-1pm). As such, if you were able to take even just one morning off per week you could complete one subject per semester.

NETS@night program

Each semester NETS teaches a range of subjects from our Certificate in Theology and Diploma courses as night classes in order to make them accessible to those who cannot attend classes during the day. NETS@Night runs during regular semester times on both Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6.00pm to 9.30pm.

Subjects can either be taken for credit towards a qualification, or audited. Auditing a subject allows you to benefit from the lectures and readings, but without needing to submit assessments, and at a significantly reduced cost.

One Week Intensives

Each semester NETS teaches at least one subject from each of our residential programs as a one week intensive. Accordingly, if you are able to take a week of leave from your regular activities and be in Windhoek, then you can attend all the lectures for one subject during these intensive weeks. This way part-time students from around Namibia are able to participate in our Windhoek based academic programs.

Study one morning per week

The NETS timetable is also organised in such a way that part-time students studying towards a Certificate in Theology (NQF level 4) can study and complete one subject by attending classes one morning per week. This is offered so that part-time students can complete the Certificate more quickly than by only attending evening classes.
