2025 Mission Trip

📢NETS Annual Mission Trip – Partner with Us in Prayer‼️

Dear friends, supporters, and fellow believers,

As the Namibia Evangelical Theological Seminary (NETS) prepares for our annual mission trip, on the 24-30 April, we invite you, mission organizations, churches, and the wider Christian community to join us in prayer.

This mission trip is a core component of our Practical Ministry training. It allows our students to live out their calling, applying what they’ve learned in class to real-life ministry settings under the guidance of their lecturers.

During this outreach, our teams will engage in a variety of ministry activities, including:

• Preaching and teaching in local churches,

• Sharing personal testimonies and the message of hope,

• Evangelism in schools and on the streets,

• Visiting old-age homes and hospitals to offer prayer and comfort,

• Children’s ministry sharing the love of Jesus in creative and impactful ways,

• Encouraging and strengthening communities spiritually and practically.

This is a powerful time of transformation not only for those we serve, but for the students and lecturers themselves as they step out in faith, grow in confidence, and experience God working through them.

We ask you to cover this mission trip in prayer pray for safety, open hearts, boldness, spiritual impact, and lasting fruit. May every soul encountered be drawn closer to Christ.

Together, let us go, send, and intercede for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom.

We celebrated the academic achievements of the students on the 16th of March 2024.

Twenty students graduated; thirteen with the Certificate in Theology, two with the Diploma in Ministry, and another two students graduated with the Diploma in Theology and three students obtained their Bachelor of Theology degree.

We were thankful for the presence of Mrs. Libertha Mutambo (Chairlady of the Board), Bishop Lukas Katenda (Preacher) and Rev. Jacob Schoeman (Kunene for Christ). We also appreciate the presence of NCHE in the person of Mrs. Lucia Oarum at the graduation.

Christian growth and character development forms an integral part of the training we offer at the seminary. On this day, we recognized the growth that occurred in the student’s character and Christian leadership. Larry Mazonde was awarded the Timothy award for portraying excellent leadership and Anna Shihepo got the Barnabas award for contributing the most to the student lives.

A special thanks to the families and friends of the graduates that joined us. Congratulations to all the graduates and may they serve the Lord faithfully and share him boldly with the world.
